Explaining ASMR to a skeptic is hard enough. Explaining tapping is where you lose them completely. 'So someone taps their fingernails on a jar.' Yes. 'For forty-five minutes.' Yes. 'And millions of people watch this to relax.' Also yes, and I'm one of them, and I say that as the guy who fact-checks wellness claims for fun.
